On Thursday, July 4, the construction of three multi-family buildings of Osiedle Uniwersyteckie, the second large development project of Grupa Kapitałowa IMMOBILE, carried out by development company CDI, officially ended. This moment was crowned by the traditional celebration of the topping out ceremony.
The wreath of branches and ribbons symbolically hung at the top of one of the three built buildings. A large group of people gathered at the ceremony, including builders and inspectors working on the investment, representatives of suppliers, architect Krzysztof Łukanowski, employees & management of the IMMOBILE Group and journalists.
The topping out ceremony is a construction tradition, organized after the completion of works related to the construction of the object. The panicle is usually mounted on the highest element of the building, and its appearance is traditionally in the form of a decorative wreath or a tree of flowers, grasses and branches. The construction manager Jakub Gillinski and the construction engineer Mateusz Benda hoisted it to the top of the building. This moment was preceded by short speeches and thanks from the contract manager Jarosław Lanowski, representing the CDI company, and the president of the board of the IMMOBILE Group Rafał Jerzy. After the official part, guests could celebrate with some refreshments.
- I want to thank people who are involved in this construction project. It is the opportunity to exchange comments and congratulate eachother. Many people take part in this work, now is a good time to look at the effect of their work, which remains permanent. It is a beautiful place to live for the residents of Fordon - said the president Rafał Jerzy.
On the 5-hectare plot in Bydgoszcz-Fordon, the first stage of the investment is currently under construction. Buildings are built along Strzeleckiego Street. The buildings will contain 108 apartments with an area from 26.91 m2 to 54.87 m2. The blocks will be almost identical, therefore each of them will have 36 apartments and 12 individual garages at the lowest level. The investment implementation was planned in the period from the fourth quarter of 2018 to the fourth quarter of 2019.
Spacious staircases and individual garages integrated into buildings are planned in each of these blocks. High quality construction and finishing materials, teletechnical infrastructure, spacious lifts, are what characterises best the new investment of CDI Konsultanci Budowlani. In order to satisfy the needs of single people, young couples and bigger families, we prepared different layouts of flats. Variuous floor areas provide opportunities for combining and modifying layouts, which allows to achieve the expected functionality. We also included in this project a development of green area, fulfilling aesthetic and leisure functions.
